MODIS Hotspots/Active Fire NASA World Wind Plugin
 FIRMS now provides a plugin for NASA World Wind to display hotspot / active fire detections for the last 48 hours for most of the globe.

NASA World Wind can be downloaded from the following URL :

http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/

Instructions:

Double-click on the installer file. Enter the following path in the destination folder:

($installation directory)\Config\Earth
The default path set in our installer is as follows
C:\Program Files\NASA\World Wind 1.4\Config\Earth

Open NASA World Wind and click on our icon present in the tool bar to see hotspots / active fire detections.
