Josh Wayland is a human geographer and environmental impact assessment practitioner. His research interests include natural resource conflicts, environmental impact assessment, foreign aid effectiveness, transportation geography, spatial econometrics, political ecology, and the meaning of scale in human geography. Josh graduated with a PhD from the Department of Geographical Sciences in December 2018. His dissertation is entitled Natural Resources, Civil Conflict, and the Political Ecology of Scale.
